Cancellations

1. Before Provider Acceptance:

  • Free Cancellation: You can cancel any booking free of charge before the service provider accepts it. To cancel, open the Jopifix Customer App, go to your booking details, and tap "Cancel Booking."
  • Full Refund: If you cancel before the provider accepts your booking, you will receive a full refund of any advance payments made.

2. After Provider Acceptance:

  • Rescheduling: If the provider has already accepted your booking but you need to change the time, you can request to reschedule the appointment. We will work with you and the provider to find a new appointment time that suits your needs. Rescheduling may be subject to the provider's availability.
  • Cancellation Charges: If you cancel the booking after the provider has accepted it, a cancellation fee may apply depending on the service type and the timing of the cancellation. The cancellation fee will be communicated to you during the cancellation process.

3. Provider Unavailability:

  • Provider-Initiated Cancellations: In the rare event that a service provider is unable to make it to your scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option to:
    • Reschedule the Appointment: We will work with you to find a new appointment time that works for you.
    • Cancel the Booking: You can cancel the booking and receive a full refund of any advance payments made. No cancellation fee will be applied.

Refunds

1. Refund Eligibility:

  • Advance Payments: If you made an advance payment for a service and cancel the booking before the provider accepts it, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Provider-Initiated Cancellations: If the provider cancels the booking, you will receive a full refund of any advance payments.
  • Service Dissatisfaction: If you are not satisfied with the quality of the service provided, you may request a refund. However, refunds will only be issued after a thorough investigation. The outcome of this investigation will be considered final.

2. Non-Refundable Situations:

  • Minor Inconveniences: Refunds will not be issued for minor inconveniences or delays experienced during the service.
  • Scope Changes: If you request changes to the scope of the service after the provider has arrived, which results in additional charges, these additional charges are non-refundable.
  • Completed Services: If the service has been completed as described in the app, a refund will not be issued, even if you are not fully satisfied with the service.

3. Refund Process:

  • Wallet Refunds: Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed into your Jopifix wallet if the service was based on advance payment. Wallet credits can be used for future bookings on the Jopifix platform.
  • Timeline: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after the completion of the investigation or cancellation process.
