These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jopifix platform, accessible at www.jopifix.com (the "Website") and through our mobile application (the "App"). By accessing or using Jopifix, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Jopifix.

1. Introduction

Jopifix ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") is Guwahati's #1 Hyperlocal Home Service App, operated from our registered office in Guwahati, Assam. Our platform connects users ("you," "your," or "Customer") with independent service providers ("Providers") who offer various home services.


2. Eligibility

  • Age Requirement: To use Jopifix, you must be at least 18 years old. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
  • Account Creation: Users must provide accurate and complete information during the account registration process. Failure to do so may result in termination of your account.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Services Provided

  • Service Listings: Providers on Jopifix offer a wide range of home services, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, AC repair, gadget repair, car washing, and more. Jopifix does not own or operate these services directly; Providers are independent contractors.
  • Service Quality: Jopifix strives to ensure that all Providers deliver high-quality services. However, we do not guarantee the quality, suitability, safety, or ability of Providers.
  • Service Warranty: We offer a 30-day warranty on services provided through Jopifix. The warranty is subject to inspection and may be altered or voided based on the findings of the inspection.

4. Payments and Commissions

  • Payment Terms: Payments for services are processed through our secure payment gateway. You agree to pay the full amount for the services rendered.
  • Commissions: Jopifix charges Providers a commission on the services booked through our platform. The commission structure varies depending on the type of service and is subject to change at the Company's discretion.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds will only be issued after a thorough investigation of the complaint. If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 business days.

5. User Conduct

  • Prohibited Activities: Users are prohibited from engaging in any activity that could harm or disrupt the Jopifix platform, including but not limited to:
    • Posting false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
    • Attempting to hack or compromise the security of the platform.
    • Engaging in fraudulent activities or misusing the platform for illegal purposes.
  • User Responsibility: You agree to use the platform in a manner that is lawful and respectful of other users and Providers. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Provider Responsibilities

  • Service Listings: Providers must ensure that their service listings are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Jopifix reserves the right to remove any listings that violate these Terms.
  • Service Delivery: Providers are responsible for delivering services in a professional and timely manner. They must also adhere to any specific terms and conditions agreed upon with the Customer.
  • Payments: Providers will receive payment for services after the successful completion of the job and following Jopifix's commission deduction. Payments are typically processed within [X] business days.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints: If you have any complaints regarding the services provided, you are encouraged to contact our customer support team at support@jopifix.com. We will work with both the Customer and the Provider to resolve the issue.
  • Investigations: In the event of a dispute, Jopifix may conduct an investigation to determine the facts. The outcome of the investigation will be considered final and binding.
  • Refunds and Adjustments: Based on the findings of the investigation, Jopifix may offer a refund, partial refund, or other compensation as deemed appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • No Warranty: Jopifix provides the platform "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jopifix shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform or services.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All content on the Jopifix platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Jopifix or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Usage Rights: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized use of the platform may violate intellectual property laws and could result in legal action.

10. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: Jopifix collects personal information from users and Providers as necessary to provide our services. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.
  • Third-Party Services: Jopifix may use third-party services to facilitate payments, analytics, and other functions. These third parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and are only permitted to use your information for the purposes specified by Jopifix.

11. Amendments to Terms

  • Updates: Jopifix reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly.
  • Continued Use: Your continued use of the Jopifix platform after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

  • Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.
